King Charles spaniel

Breed of toy dog favoured by King Charles I of England. It has a characteristic domed head and upturned muzzle. It normally weighs less than 6 kg/13 lb. Different varieties are distinguished by the colours of the coat: King Charles (black with red markings); Prince Charles (white and black with red markings); Ruby (chestnut); Blenheim (white with chestnut markings).
