King Roger

Opera by Karol Szymanowski (libretto by the composer and J Iwaszkiewicz), first produced in Warsaw, Poland, on 19 June 1926. It tells how Queen Roxane and her husband Roger are converted by a wandering shepherd-prophet, Dionysus in disguise.
