Kinghorn

Seaside resort and former royal burgh in Fife unitary authority, Scotland, situated on the Firth of Forth, about 5 km/3 mi southwest of Kirkcaldy; population (2001) 2,840. Bottle-making is its principal industry.

A monument marks where Alexander III of Scotland died after falling from his horse in 1286.
