Kingsland

City in south-central Arkansas, 48 km/30 mi southwest of Pine Bluff; population (1990) 400. It is an agricultural shipping centre. The Civil War battle of Marks' Mill took place nearby on 25 April 1864.

The football coach Bear Bryant (1913–1983) was born here.
