Kington

Market town in Herefordshire, England, on the River Arrow, 30 km/19 mi northwest of Hereford; population (2001) 2,600. The church at Kington dates from the 14th century; the tower is Norman. Hergest Court, with its 14th- and 15th-century buildings, is all that remains of a castle that once stood on the Welsh border.
