Kinoshita, Toichiro

Kinoshita, Toichiro (1925– )

Japanese physicist. He made significant contributions to the study of quantum electrodynamics and invariance (symmetry law). Kinoshita was born in Tokyo, Japan. He moved to the USA in 1952 to work at Princeton University (1952–54), then became a researcher and teacher at Columbia University (1954–64) before joining Cornell University in 1964.
