Klengel, August (Alexander) (1783-1852)

German organist and composer. He was a pupil of Clementi, with whom he travelled from 1803 onwards, visiting Russia, Paris, and London. In 1816 he was appointed court organist at Dresden.

two piano concertos; piano quintet; much piano music, including canons and fugues, etc.
