Koffler, Józef (1896–1943)| Polish composer. After studying with Arnold Schoenberg, he began to cultivate the 12-note system, the first Polish composer to do so. Later he became professor at the Lviv State Conservatory, but was killed during a Nazi roundup of Jews near Kraków. |
