Kohler

Town in eastern Wisconsin, 8 km/5 mi west of Sheboygan; population (1990) 1,800. The manufacture of plumbing fixtures is the major economic basis of this planned community.

The Kohler fixture plant here has been the site of some of the longest and most acrimonious labour disputes in US history. Kohler also manufactures leisure products, engines, and generators.
