Kollmann, August Friedrich Christoph (1756-1829)

German organist, theorist, and composer. He held a post at Lüne, near Lüneburg, but in 1782 went to London, England, where he was appointed sacristan and cantor of the German Chapel, St James's. He wrote many theoretical works, and also composed a piano concerto and chamber music.
