Kolodin, Irving

Kolodin, Irving (1908–1988)

US music critic. He wrote for the New York Sun 1932–50 and for the Saturday Review from 1947. Best known for the popular Guide to Recorded Music, he also wrote programme notes for the New York Philharmonic and Metropolitan Opera.

Kolodin was born in New York City.
