korfball

Form of handball played by two teams of eight (four men and four women) on a pitch measuring 40 m/131 ft × 20 m/66 ft indoors or 60 m/197 ft × 30 m/98 ft outdoors. The object is to score by playing the ball into a basket on a pole, positioned at each end of the field. The teams swap ends after every two goals.
