Kashchei the Immortal

Opera by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov (libretto by the composer), first produced in Moscow, Russia, on 25 December 1902. Kashchei is the wizard of Russian fairy lore who appears also in Igor Stravinsky's Firebird ballet.
