L'Héritier, Jean (c. 1480-after 1552)

French composer. He wrote Masses, motets, and other pieces.

He was a pupil of Josquin Desprez. In the 1520s he was in Rome, Italy, and was music director to the Cardinal de Vermont at Avignon 1540-41.
