La Guerre, Michel de (c. 1605–1679)

French organist and composer. The father-in-law of Élisabeth de La Guerre, he was organist of the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris, 1633–79. His two sons, Jérôme (c. 1654–?) and Marin (1658–1704) were both organists and composers; the latter married Élisabeth Jacquet.
