Laberius, Decimus

    0.02 sec.

Laberius, Decimus (c. 115-43 BC)

Roman knight who, with his contemporary Publius Syrus, gave literary shape to the mime, or burlesque drama. Fragments of his work survive, and justify the opinion of Horace who admired him for having lent style to a normally indecent form.
