Labiche, Eugène Marin (1815–1888)

French dramatist. He wrote numerous light comedies and farces, including Un Chapeau de paille d'Italie/An Italian Straw Hat 1851, Le Voyage de M Perrichon/Monsieur Perrichon's Journey 1860, and La Poudre aux yeux/Dust in Your Eyes 1861.
