labour mobility

Degree to which labour is willing to move in order to obtain employment. Moving from one part of the country to another, or from one country to another, is known as geographical mobility. Movement from one type of employment to another is known as occupational mobility. Factors that affect geographical mobility include regional property prices, local ties, and communications infrastructure.
