Labuński, Feliks Roderyk (1892-1979)

Polish-born US composer. He studied at Warsaw and with Dukas and Nadia Boulanger in Paris. He founded a society of Polish musicians there and later emigrated to the USA.

symphony and Pastoral Triptych for orchestra (1931); concertino for piano and orchestra; string quartet; Divertimento for flute and piano; Olympic Hymn for chorus and orchestra; The Birds for voice and orchestra (1934); Polish Cantata for solo voices and chorus (1932); piano pieces; songs.
