City in southern Québec, Canada, 21 km/13 mi north of Montréal, on the Rivière des Prairies, across from the northern end of the Ile de Montréal and just southwest of Repentigny; population (1991) 15,100. It is part of a complex of rapidly growing residential suburbs.
