Ladin

An ethnic community (numbering about 16,000) in the Dolomites, southern Tyrol, Austria, whose language (Ladin) derives directly from Latin; they may be descended from the Etruscans and other early Italian tribes. They have links with the speakers of Romansch in Switzerland.

In response to Pakistan interior minister's claim that al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Ladin is hiding in Afghanistan's eastern province of Kunar,he said they didnt know about Bin Ladin's whereabouts.
