Lehi

City in north-central Utah, on Utah Lake, 24 km/15 mi northwest of Provo; population (1990) 8,500. It is a trade centre for an irrigated agricultural area producing sugar beet, fruit, and alfalfa. It processes sugar, flour, feed, and farm produce, and manufactures clay products.

Settled in 1848, the city was named after a Book of Mormon prophet.
