Lawn Tennis Association

The governing body of tennis in the UK. The LTA was formed in 1888 and was responsible for drawing up the rules of lawn tennis. It is also responsible for organizing hard-court competitions and selecting and managing the Davis Cup team. Its headquarters are at the Queen's Club, London, England, which it owns.
