Collection of information, usually numbers, arranged so that information is easy to find. Two-way tables are designed to be read from the top and from the side, for example a multiplication table, which gives all the products of numbers from one to ten.

In music, the belly of a string instrument; also the sounding board of the harp. In harp playing, près de la table is an instruction to play near the sounding board, producing a metallic sound.
