Lailat ul-Qadr

Muslim festival that celebrates the giving of the Koran to Muhammad. It usually falls at the end of Ramadan.

Then came the celebrations of Laylat al-Qadr [the 27th of Ramadan], where President Hosni Mubarak gave a speech in which he said that the time has come to end the suffering of the Palestinian people, and that this people's cause is the key to peace and security in the Middle East.
It was Laylat al-Qadr, the night that comes toward the end of Ramadan during which families pray together for hours.
It is called Laylat Al-Qadr or 'The Night of Power'.
