| He was born and grew up in Newton, a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts, where he developed a passion for motorcycles and trained to be a carpenter. After graduating from high school, however, he moved to New York City and began modelling. He appeared in a television commercial for Heinz ketchup which won the Gold Lion Award at the 1987 Cannes Film Festival, as well as in commercials for Levi's, Coca-Cola, and Doritos. He later moved to Los Angeles, California, to take a role in the short-lived series TV 101, and followed with the similarly short-lived Top of the Heap and Vinny and Bobby. |
