Leadhills
| Village in South Lanarkshire unitary authority, Scotland, 40 km/25 mi south of Lanark. Hidden among the Lowther Hills, 412 m/1,352 ft above sea level, it is one of the highest settlements in Scotland. Its leadmines, worked since the early 17th century, were closed in 1939. |
