Lebanon County

County in southeastern Pennsylvania, in the Piedmont Plateau; area 940 sq km/363 sq mi; population (1990) 113,700. Its capital and main city is Lebanon. The county contains the Lebanon Valley, part of the Pennsylvania Dutch region of the state and a rich farming area.

It was settled by German immigrants around 1710, and their influence can still be felt in the regional culture.
