Lee, Bruce (1941–1973)

US ‘Chinese Western’ film actor and director. He was an expert in kung fu and popularized the oriental martial arts in the West with films such as Jing wu men/Fists of Fury (1971) (made in Hong Kong) and Enter the Dragon (1973), his last film.

He appeared in the television series The Green Hornet (1966–67). His other films include The Chinese Connection and Way of the Dragon (both 1972).
