Lehigh

River in east central Pennsylvania, eastern USA, a tributary of the Delaware; length 193 km/120 mi. It rises in the Pocono Mountains; its lower valley is an industrial area and is occupied by the towns of Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton, where more than 1,000 industrial plants manufacture a wide range of products. Lehigh meets the Delaware at Easton.
