Lerici

Resort and port in Liguria region, northwest Italy, on the eastern shore of the Gulf of Spezia, on the Italian Riviera; population (1991) 12,200. It has a 12th-century castle (now used as a youth hostel) which includes a notable Gothic chapel.

The English poets Lord Byron and Percy Bysshe Shelley lived near here 1821–1822.

In fact, prior to 2006, the only fictional text by Bruck available in English was a short story from her collection Andremo in citta, the original version of which was published in Milan (1962) by Lerici CA Surprise.
