Leroi, Julien David (1724–1803)

French antiquarian, born in Paris. In 1754 he visited Greece, and on his return published Ruines des plus beaux monuments de la Grèce/Ruins of the most beautiful monuments of Greece (1770), which was the earliest systematic account of the archaeological heritage of that country.
