Levi, Isaac (1930- )

US philosopher. His main interests were the philosophies of science and social science. His works include Gambling With Truth (1967). Levi was born in New York City; After earning a doctorate from Columbia University (1957) and teaching at Case Western Reserve (1957-62, 1964-70) and City College of New York (1962-64), he became a professor at Columbia in 1970.
