Lind, Eva (1965– )

Austrian soprano. She made her debut in Innsbruck in 1983, in Parsifal. She appeared at the Vienna Staatsoper from 1986, as Lucia, the Queen of Night, and Strauss's Sophie. Her other roles have included Lucia (Basel, 1985); the Queen of Night (Paris, 1987: Nannetta (Glyndebourne, 1988); Gounod's Juliet (Zurich, 1990); and Weber's Aennchen (Bonn, 1993). Her recordings include Die Fledermaus (with Domingo), Die Zauberflöte (under Marriner), and Tales of Hoffmann (under Tate).
