Lindberg, Oskar Fredrik (1887-1955)

Swedish organist and composer. He studied at the Stockholm Conservatory and at Sonderhausen. In 1906 he was appointed organist at a Stockholm church and in 1919 professor at the Conservatory.

Works

Requiem (1922) and cantata for solo voices, chorus and orchestra; symphony in F major (1912); Three Pictures from Dalarne, three overtures, symphonic poems Wilderness, Flor and Blancheflor, and From the Great Forests, and suite Travel Memories for orchestra; piano pieces; songs with orchestra and with piano.
