Lindblad, Adolf Fredrik (1801-1878)

Swedish composer and singing teacher. He studied with Carl Zelter in Berlin, Germany, and in 1827 settled in Stockholm, Sweden, as a teacher of singing. Jenny Lind was among his pupils.

Works

the opera Frondörerna (1835); two symphonies; seven string quartets; duo for violin and piano; vocal duets, trios and quartets; numerous songs.
