Lingfield

Village in Surrey, England, near the Sussex border; population (2001, Lingfield and Crowhurst) 4,000. It has a 15th-century church and an imposing Mormon (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) temple. There is a racecourse to the south.
