Lyra

Small but prominent constellation of the northern hemisphere, represented as the harp of Orpheus. Its brightest star is Vega.

Epsilon Lyrae is a system of four gravitationally linked stars. Beta Lyrae is an eclipsing binary. The Ring nebula, M57, is a planetary nebula.

One of two different musical instruments: either an alternative spelling of lira, or a percussion instrument with tuned steel bars or plates which are played with hammers, similar to the Stahlspiel, used in English military bands and made for them in the shape of a lyre.
