Little, Tasmin (1965– )

English violinist. She studied at the Menuhin School and at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has appeared with all the leading British orchestras and with the Gewandhaus Orchestra, the Royal Danish Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Symphony Orchestra. Often heard in the concertos of Delius, Elgar, Dvořák and Sibelius, she premiered the concerto by Robert Saxton (Leeds, 1989) and performed a reconstruction Janáček's concerto at the 1990 London Proms. She is also a recitalist and is especially valued for her performances of Beethoven's Kreutzer Sonata.
