Intermezzo by Giovanni Pergolesi (libretto by T Mariani), first produced at the Teatro San Bartolommeo, Naples, between the acts of Pergolesi's serious opera Adriano in Siria, on 25 October 1734. It tells how Livietta encourages the petty thief and trickster Tracallo to reform.
