Livy (59 BC–AD 17)Roman historian. He was the author of a History of Rome from the city's foundation to 9 BC, based partly on legend. It was composed of 142 books, of which 35 survive, covering the periods from the arrival of Aeneas in Italy to 293 BC and from 218 to 167 BC. How to thank TFD for its existence?
