Llandovery

Llandovery

Town in Carmarthenshire, southwest Wales, situated in the Twyi valley; population (2001) 2,900. It is primarily an agricultural centre. Llandovery has the remains of a Norman castle. Llandovery College, a Welsh private school, was founded in 1848.
