    0.07 sec.

Lloyd-Jones, David Martyn (1899–1981)

Welsh preacher and writer. He preached at Westminster Chapel, London, and for 30 years made it virtually the heart of English Nonconformity, basing his preaching on Reformed theology.

Born in Newcastle Emlyn, he trained in medicine at London but in 1926 gave up a promising career in Harley Street to enter the Christian ministry. He served for 11 years in Aberavon before moving to London. His published works include Truth Unchanged, Unchanging (1951), From Fear to Faith (1953), Conversions: Psychological and Spiritual (1959), and Studies in the Sermon on the Mount (1959–60).
