London Group

Art society formed 1915 in London when the Camden Town Group, the Vorticists, and several smaller groups came together to provide an opportunity for young avant-garde artists to exhibit. Its members have included Walter Sickert, Vanessa Bell, and Paul Nash. The group still exists.

There are now more than 2,700 housing units in the development pipeline in the East Village neighborhood that covers roughly one-quarter of downtown, according to San Diego-based London Group Realty Advisors.
