For the next hour or so, Spielberg has us in his grasp and keeps tightening the vice, serving up the devastation from a street-level point of view (once again, cinematographer Janusz Kaminski's work - particularly the long lens shots - is nothing short of amazing) that highlights the brutal and ghastly horror of the events. It was at this amazing site I snapped some photos, while Pancho took long lens spy shots of girls in bikinis. Indeed, Bourgeois remarks that the works "reflect the optimistic view that I feel today"--a view seen through the long lens of her eighty-eight years, as if from a great height. |
