Looe

Small fishing port and seaside resort in Cornwall, England, on Looe Bay, 25 km/15 mi west of Plymouth; population (2001) 5,300. The town has two parts, West and East Looe, joined by a bridge across the River Looe. Looe was once a flourishing seaport.

The 16th-century guildhall at East Looe is now a museum.
