Lopardo, Frank (1958- )

US tenor. He made his debut at St Louis in 1984, as Tamino, and from the following year made appearances internationally, at Aix; La Scala, Milan; Amsterdam; Glyndebourne; the Vienna Staatsoper (Ferrando, 1987 and Belfiore in Il Viaggio a Reims); Chicago; and the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden 1989, (Rossini's Almaviva and Lindoro in L'Italiana in Algeri). He returned to London 1994, as Alfredo and in the 1991/92 season sang Lindoro and Don Ottavio. Recordings include Ferrando in Così fan tutte, conducted by Solti.
