Lott, Felicity (1947– )

English soprano. She studied at the Royal Academy of Music, London and in 1975 sang Pamina with English National Opera ensemble. Other roles have been Anne Trulove (1977), Christine in Intermezzo, the Countess in Capriccio, Octavian, and Arabella (at Glyndebourne); Mozart's Countess (at Chicago and the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London); the Marschallin (Metropolitan Opera House, New York, 1990); Eva in Die Meistersinger (at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London, in 1990); and Strauss's Countess (Vienna, 1993). Concert work has included a performance with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in 1984 and recitals with the Songmakers' Almanac, a group which includes readings in its performances. She sang at the Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer in 1986.
