Lozowick, Louis (1892-1973)

Russian-born US painter and printmaker. He concentrated on industrial themes in his graphic designs and was the author of Modern Russian Art (1925). Lozowick was born in Ludvinovka, Russia. He emigrated to the USA in 1906, and studied at the National Academy of Design in New York (1912-15).
