Lubke, Heinrich (1894-1972)

German politician. He was president of the German Federal Republic l959-69, after serving as minister of food and agriculture 1953-59. He was a member of the Christian Democratic Union. He had been a member of the pre-war Prussian Landtag 1931-33, but was stripped of all offices and imprisoned 1933-35.
